Manaswini Foundation organised a joyful Rakhi Making Workshop for the school girls of Nagar Bharat Vidyalaya & Junior College, Nagpur, creating a beautiful opportunity to celebrate Raksha Bandhan through creativity, culture and handmade art.
Raksha Bandhan is more than a festival—it is a celebration of love, care, respect and the precious bond of family. Through this workshop, the girls discovered the beauty of this tradition by creating their own rakhis with imagination and love.
The workshop was beautifully guided by Ms. Anjali Gupta, a well-known artist, who inspired the students to explore their creativity and transform simple materials into colourful, meaningful creations. Every rakhi reflected a unique idea, a creative mind and the joy of making something with one’s own hands.
The workshop also carried a beautiful message: handmade is heartfelt. In a world filled with ready-made things, creating something ourselves teaches patience, creativity, confidence and the value of effort.
The smiles, enthusiasm and colourful creations of the young girls made the workshop truly special. It was a celebration not only of Raksha Bandhan, but also of Indian traditions, artistic expression and the limitless creativity of young minds.
When young hands create, hearts connect.
When traditions are celebrated with creativity, they live on for generations.
Manaswini Foundation continues to inspire young minds to celebrate our culture, create with confidence and carry forward the beautiful values of our heritage.
