In a heartfelt effort to empower micro-entrepreneurship and promote economic independence among underprivileged girls, Manaswini Foundation organized a Block Printing Workshop at Bhide Girls’ School & Junior College, Nagpur. This initiative aimed to equip participants, especially young girls, with essential skills in block printing—a traditional art form with modern-day relevance and applications.
The workshop offered hands-on training where participants learned intricate techniques, from designing patterns to mastering the printing process. This collaborative effort involved the Textile Department of L.A.D College, Nagpur, with expert guidance from Dr. Vandana Menon and Ms. Rakshata Mankar.
Aligned with Manaswini Foundation’s mission to foster sustainable livelihoods and economic self-sufficiency within marginalized communities, the workshop emphasized block printing’s potential as a promising avenue for micro-entrepreneurship.
