This monsoon, imagine carrying your own hand-painted, one-of-a-kind umbrella and making beautiful memories in the rain! Manaswini Foundation recently organized a special Umbrella Painting Workshop led by the renowned artist Ms. Neha Munje, famous for her exquisite painted silk sarees across India and abroad.
A group of 50 young school girls from Bhide girls school and junior college Nagpur selected for their basic painting skills, enthusiastically participated in the workshop. Ms. Munje taught them the fine details and techniques of painting, inspiring creativity and confidence in each participant. Manaswini Foundation provided umbrellas, colors, and painting materials to all the girls.
The workshop was followed by the distribution of oral health care kits, generously sponsored by Vicco Laboratories Ltd.
As a special addition, contestants from Miss Nation — involved in a personality development event — visited the workshop as part of their social responsibility activities during the pageant. They shared valuable insights on fitness, grooming, and self-confidence, which the young girls thoroughly enjoyed.
This workshop was a wonderful experience, empowering the girls not only through art but also by promoting health, self-expression, and confidence.
