On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Manaswini Foundation and the Lions Club of Nagpur District 323 H1 jointly celebrated Women’s Day on 8th March 2017 at Udyamita Hall, 1st Floor, Udyog Bhavan, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
The event was graced by MJF Rani Yashodhara Raje Bhosale, the first lady of the district, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Parineeta Fukey, Corporator, as the Guest of Honor.
Various competitions were organized to commemorate the day, including:
1. Poetry/Slogan/Speech competition on “Women Empowerment & Upliftment”
2. Fancy Dress competition on “Great Women of India”
3. Best Out of Waste competition
Several Manaswini members were felicitated for their outstanding contributions throughout the year.

The program was conducted by Aparna Goverdhan and Asha Pandey, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Shraddha Purohit. The event was attended by a large and enthusiastic gathering of members.
