The main objective of organizing the “Best Out of Waste” competition is to promote the values of reducing, reusing, and recycling waste materials while contributing to environmental protection. This competition provides an excellent platform for participants to showcase their talent, creativity, and innovative ideas.
Recently, Manaswini Foundation organized the “Best Out of Waste” competition for girl students at Kapil Nagar Hindi Uchcha Prathamik and Madhyamik Shaala. Nearly 250 girls enthusiastically took part in this event.
Participants used a wide variety of discarded materials such as broken glass, plastic bottles, ice cream sticks, eggshells, broken crockery, bangles, wheat dough, and old newspapers to create impressive crafts, decorative items, home décor, and other useful objects.
Prizes were awarded in two categories:
High School Level:
1. Renu Ramshankar Yadav, Class 9 – 1st Prize
2. Sairis Khanam, Class 10 – 2nd Prize
3. Neha Dinesh Shipai, Class 9 – 3rd Prize
Middle School Level:
1. Mahek Galgad, Class 7 – 1st Prize
2. Riya Biharilal Sahu, Class 7 – 2nd Prize
3. Aari Choudhary, Class 6 – 3rd Prize
All winners received mementos, certificates, and gift vouchers. Chocolates were distributed to all participating girls to celebrate their creativity and efforts.
