Cupcakes, birthday cakes, chocolate cakes, brownies—baking offers something delicious for every occasion. Baking a cake is as simple as measuring ingredients, mixing them in the right order, and remembering to take it out of the oven at just the right time.
As part of its skill development program, Manaswini organized a Cake Baking & Decorating Workshop, expertly guided by Ms. Bhavana Chapke, a renowned bakery specialist. The workshop covered a variety of treats including chocolate cake, vanilla cake, ganache cake, doll cake, cupcakes, rum balls, and nan khatai.
Nearly 35 members participated in the workshop, including some underprivileged girls who learned the art of baking as a potential source of livelihood. Baking can be an excellent career option for women and girls with a passion for creativity, artistic skills, and cooking.
This initiative aligns with livelihood and community development projects aimed at building life skills and empowering individuals to overcome social and economic challenges. Beyond being a career, baking is also a fulfilling hobby that nurtures creativity and boosts confidence.
