Social gatherings have turned into social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic. While the majority of women’s social activities have been cancelled, some have chosen to make the most of this time by upgrading themselves through new skills and hobbies.
Manaswini Foundation, committed to women’s empowerment, has decided to utilize this period as an opportunity for productive engagement. The Foundation has launched an initiative titled “Let Your Creativity Flow” for its members.
The initiative includes activities such as making herbal soaps, cooking, baking, preparing mocktails and ice creams, learning about health and nutrition, style and beauty, green living, miniature gardening, flower decoration, fitness, meditation, and more.
Suman Dass, a senior member of the foundation and an expert in paper bag making, shared, “It’s giving us time to pursue our hobbies and invest in ourselves. The active participation of other members is also boosting our confidence.”
Another member, Bhawana Chapke, a chef, added, “We are locked down to unlock a better version of ourselves.”
Other enthusiastic participants include Indrani Roychoudhury, Priti Dharpure, Lata Andhare, Trupti Apreja, and several others who are embracing this creative journey together.
